采光方式根据建筑光学的原理和各类建筑对天然采光的要求所采取的开窗方式。一般分为侧窗采光、天窗采光、混合采光三类。侧窗采光 利用建筑物外墙上所开的采光口(侧窗)进行采光。侧窗按所处位置分为单侧窗、双侧窗和高侧窗（图1）。单侧窗构造简单，造价低廉，使用维护方便，光线具有很强的方向性，有利于显现立体造型，易与室外联系等优点，因此使用广泛。缺点是光线分布不均匀,近窗处亮，远窗处暗,使房间进深受到限制，采光的有效进深一般不超过窗高的两倍。另外，单侧窗的位置较低，易形成直接眩光。采用双侧窗、高侧窗采光，室内照度的均匀度比单侧窗好。在窗洞上装乳白玻璃、折光玻璃或反光板，使光线折向天棚,可以增加室内深处的照度（图2）。天窗采光 进深大的建筑采取侧窗采光方式不能满足房间深处的采光要求，宜在屋顶开设天窗采光。由于天窗安装位置和数量不受墙面限制，因此能在工作面上形成较高而均匀的照度，并且不易形成直接眩光。常用的天窗有以下几种。① 矩形天窗（图3）。具有高侧窗特点，采光系数（见采光标准）平均值可达5％。窗口如为南北朝向，直射阳光不易进入室内。② 锯齿形天窗(图3b)。为单侧采光天窗，由于有倾斜的顶棚反光，因而采光效率比矩形天窗高15～20％,采光系数平均值可达7％。在北半球，窗口如朝北，可避免阳光直接射入室内，有利于控制室内温湿度和避免眩光。③ 平天窗(图3c)。用平板玻璃作成平面形式或用合成材料作成壳体形式的天窗。平天窗构造简单，布置灵活，采光效率比矩形天窗高两倍以上，在各类建筑中广泛采用。但平天窗处于水平位置，应采取适当的遮阳措施，防止阳光直射室内。④ 横向天窗（图3d）。直接在屋架垂直面上安设窗扇，可节省天窗架，降低建筑高度，节省建筑费用。横向天窗的采光效率同矩形天窗近似，但施工较复杂，屋顶整体刚度较差。⑤ 其他天窗。包括井式（下沉式）天窗（图3e）、避风天窗等，一般不装玻璃,采光系数不超过1％，采光效率较低，主要用于需要通风良好的车间。混合采光 在同一建筑空间内同时采用前述两种类采光方式进行采光（图4）。混合采光兼有侧窗采光和天窗采光的优点，可增大房间进深，使室内光线分布均匀。参考书目Н.М.古雪夫著,张绍纲译:《建筑物天然采光》,中国工业出版社,北京,1965。
