学生情况分析

四年级学生的年龄在十----十一岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、特别感兴趣。而且他们接触英语已经有一年半时间,已具有初步的听说能力.再来,在本单元a部分学生将会接触到介绍人物的诸多单词,我相信必能很好的调动学生学习积极性。

teaching procedures

step 1 warm-up

1、 greetings.

t: hi, children. long time no see.

s: hi, miss chen. long time no see.

t: how are you?

s: i"m fine, thank you. and you?

t: i am very well, thanks

2、let"s do

t:now,boys and girls.would you like to do with me?

ss:yes!

t:make yourself tall. ss:tall,tall,tall!

make yourself short. ss:short,short,short!

make your arms long. ss:long,long,long!

make your eyes big. ss:big,big,big!

make your eyes small. ss:small,small,small!

t:you have done a good job!

ss:thank you,miss chen!

{purpose: 以上的let"s do 的目的是为了复习旧知:tall,short,big,small等形容词,让学生温故而知新,为学习新知垫定了很好的基础。}

step 2 preview

1 t:class!let"s play a game.

ss:ok!

接下来做的是反义词游戏,教师说出一个形容词,如tall,请学生快速说出它的反义词,看看谁的反应快。

tall--short short---long big---small

2 let"s play:look and say

通过cai出示一个男孩与一个女孩的头象。男孩、女孩五官具有鲜明特征,如:

男孩:小眼睛,大鼻子,大嘴巴,短头发等。

女孩:大眼睛,小鼻子,小嘴巴,长头发等。

活动时,把全班分成若干组进行比赛,让各组分别来描述他们的特征。

{purpose:课前的revisions 让学生在一定程度上巩固了旧知识,反义词游戏为小学生善于展现自我的个性搭设了舞台;而let"s play既活跃了课堂气氛又直揭本课主题并为新知做好铺垫。}

step 3 presentation

1 教学long hair,short hair

a 引入:当let"s play中学生描述到头发hair的时候,教师提醒学生长头发是long hair,短头发是short hair.

b 操练:

cai呈现一个长头发的女孩和一个短头发男孩

t:this is a girl.she has long hair.

that is a boy.he has short hair.

look at me!i have ...(教师故意停顿下来,示意学生接话。)

ss:long hair.

t:you are so clever.yes,miss chen has long hair.what about you?(请一女生回答。)

s1:i have long hair.

t:good!do you have long hair,too?(问一男生。)
