动词短语是由动词和介词、副词、名词等构成的，在句中作谓语。
85.intend for打算用法：intend for经常与be动词连用，构成be intended for, 表示“准备用于”。
例句：The glass bottle is intended for holding flowers picked up from the garden.
这个玻璃是打算用来盛放从花园里摘的鲜花。
语法结构分析：The glass bottle是主语（the和glass是前置定语，修饰bottle）， is intended for 是谓语，holding flowers是-ing式词组作宾语， picked up from the garden是过去分词词组作后置定语。
86.judge by以……来判断
用法：judge by可以用于主动语态，也可以用于被动语态（较多）。
例句：A person is judged by their worth. (12月六级)
人是由他们的价值来判断的。
87.keep from防止
用法：keep from中的介词from后接名词或者动名词形式。
例句：They put a fence around the bed to keep him from falling down.
他们在床的四周安装了护栏防止他掉下来。
88.knock at敲
用法：knock at表示“敲门、窗等”，可以与副词lightly等连用，表示不同含义。
例句：In the middle of the night, a few people came knocking at the door.
半夜的时候，有几个人来敲门了。
1127作业形容词短语：know about了解用法：know about后接宾语，可以是名词或代词。
例句：The students can understand Frantzen’s art without knowing about her life. (托福)
