静止无功补偿器一种没有旋转部件,快速、平滑可控的动态无功功率补偿装置。它是将可控的电抗器和电力电容器(固定或分组投切)并联使用。电容器可发出无功功率(容性的),可控电抗器可吸收无功功率(感性的)。通过对电抗器进行调节,可以使整个装置平滑地从发出无功功率改变到吸收无功功率(或反向进行),并且响应快速。静止无功补偿器的电路图如图1。按照电抗器的调节方法,静止无功补偿器有以下3种类型。①可控饱和电抗器型:可控饱和电抗器包括两部分绕组(图2), 即交流绕组和直流控制绕组。改变直流控制绕组的励磁电流,调节铁心的饱和程度,就可改变交流绕组的电感值。②自饱和电抗器型:自饱和电抗器在某一电压值下,铁心即自行饱和。在未饱和时电抗值大,饱和后电抗值小,随着电抗值的改变所吸收的无功功率也就改变。③相控电抗器型:利用晶闸管开关来控制电抗器的接通时间(通过控制晶闸管的导通角),从而控制电抗器中电流的波形,其基波电流将随导通角而改变其大小,这就相当于改变电抗器的电抗值。静止无功补偿器在低压供配电系统中广泛应用于电压调整、改善电压水平、减少电压波动、改善功率因数、抑制电压闪变、平衡不对称负荷,静止无功补偿器配套的滤波器能吸收谐波和减小谐波干扰等。在超高压输电系统中,静止无功补偿器的作用是提供无功补偿、调整电压,改善系统电压水平,改善电力系统的动态和暂态稳定性,抑制工频过电压等。与电力电容器相比,静止无功补偿器能双向连续、平滑调节;与同步调相机相比,静止无功补偿器没有旋转部件,所以运行维护简单。同时静止无功补偿器调节速度快,因此具有很大的优越性。它的缺点是本身产生谐波,若不采取措施将污染电力系统,一般有配套的电力滤波器。为了实现双向连续调节,克服并联电容调节效应的弱点,要求增大补偿容量。
