山西建筑职业技术学院山西建筑职业技术学院是专科层次的高等院校。我院创建于1952年，位于太原市学府街，学院总占地面积600亩，建筑面积20万平方米。学院设有25个专业，其中建筑工程、建筑装饰专业被教育部评定为同家级高职高专教育专业教学改革试点，建筑电气工程专业被评为省级重点示范专业。全院共有在册教职工320人，共有在校生8700余人，其中全日制在校生6500余人，函授生2200多人.学院有一支高水平的教师队伍。在21o名专任教师中，有副教授37人，高级讲师l9人．讲师100人，工程师、实验师、技师14人，已取得国家注册资格的"双师型"教师40多人,学院还外聘兼职教授和客座教授85人，学院实验中心拥有物理、电子、电路、电工、化学、力学、暖通、金相、建材等18个实验室，实训中心设有电工、砌筑、抹灰，通风，房卫、钢筋、模扳、金工、工程机械维修等1 3个实训馆，具有良好的实践教学和技能培训条件，新建图书馆馆舍面积6000平方米，藏书量16万册，设有电子阅览室，配备11o台p4计算机，与中国教育网站联通。全院共有微机800多台，有10个计算机教室，9个多媒体教室，3个语音教室。学院设有成人专科函授和夜大学教育，以及同济大学、哈尔滨工业大学两个远程网络教学站和长安大学、沈阳建工学院，哈尔滨工业大学山西函授站，还设有山四省建设职业技能岗位资格鉴定站和山西省计算机等级考试点，全国公共等级英语考试点。50年多来，学院为社会培养输送了2万余名建筑类高中级专门人才，一大批毕业生担负了省。市、县级建设主管部门和大中型建筑施工、建筑设计、城市规划、建筑科研等单位的领导工作，为祖国社会主义建设，特别是山西建设事业的改革和发展做出了重要贡献，被誉为“培养建设人才的基地，造就企业经理的摇篮” 近年来，学院先后被上级有关部门授予“全省毕业生就业先进单位”、“山西省德育示范学校”、“山西省文明学校”、“省直文明单位标兵”等称号。我院十分重视毕业生的就业指导工作，连续多年邀请省内外用人单位在学院召开双向选择洽谈会。每年都向北京，武汉等地和中建集团等大型企业输送大批毕业生，1998年以来毕业生就业率达到95％以上，名列全省同类院校前茅，受到广大用人单位、学生和上级领导的褒奖。山西建筑职业技术学院正以“与时俱进、自强不息”的精神，不断深化改革，推进教育创新，弘扬传统，继往开来，努力实现跨越式发展，为把学院建设成为全国建设系统和全省一流的示范性高职院校而奋斗。
