南宫市职教中心南宫市职业技术教育中心是国家级重点中等专业学校。学校建于1987年，1991年南宫市政府在第二职业技术中学的基础上，融市卫生学校、技工学校等市内其他几所中等职业学校为一体，组建了市职业技术教育中心。通过十几年的发展壮大，学校已发展成为环境优美、师资力量雄厚、具有较完善现代化教学设施的一所开放型的综合性教育中心。学校占地630亩，总建筑面积6.11万平方米。建有教学楼、实验楼、学生公寓楼、餐厅（礼堂）、图书馆、阅览室等基础设施。配备有先进的卫星电视接收系统、多媒体语音电教系统、计算机网络系统及文化课和专业课实验实习设备。学校学历教育包括职业高中、职业中专、普通中专、“3+2”五年一贯制大专、电大等几个部分，现开设高效农业、计算机应用、工业与民用建筑、商务英语、商贸经济、装潢艺术设计等十五个专业，在校学生3629人，教职工323人，外籍教师2人。校内实习基地占地460亩，建有食用菌开发服务中心、生态示范养牛场、实验农场、特种动物养殖场、种猪场、养鸡场、果林场等，校外实习点有南宫市曲轴连杆厂、巨龙药业有限责任公司等当地企业；河北华龙集团、天津新港船厂修船分厂、山东时风集团等国家明星企业及当地乡镇村庄等。建校以来，学校围绕当地经济发展，以为当地培养中初级实用技术人才为宗旨，共培养长班毕业生11600名，短训班年培训量6000人次。大多毕业生成为乡村两级和市级企业的技术骨干，2％的毕业生成为乡村领导干部或厂长、经理，服务类毕业生大多办起了项目，效益较好。学校探索出的“贷款建校”、“先建基地后招生”、“上挂、横联、下辐射”、“教学与生产相结合”、“教学、科研、生产、经营、服务五位一体”、“专业、实业、产业三业一体”的办学路子在全国推广。学校的办学经验受到国家、省、市各级领导的好评，党和国家领导人李铁映、王任重、刘澜涛、孙起孟，国家教委主要负责同志何东昌、柳斌、王明达，原省长钮茂生以及联合国教科文组织有关人士都曾来学校视察指导工作。《人民日报》、《中国教育报》、《河北日报》等报刊都介绍过学校的办学经验。学校荣获“全国职业教育工作先进单位”、“全国农村教育综合改革先进单位”等省级以上荣誉20多项，并连续十二年六次荣获“省级文明单位”，2002年学校成为全国重点建设示范职业学校之一。
