特征辐射特征辐射物理学术语。X线谱系中，在连续X线谱的基础上，叠加了若干条强度很大并具有特定波长的谱线，共同构成的特征性X线谱。X线谱系由两部分组成，其一为高速电子与靶原子核相互作用中产生的连续X线，即韧致辐射；其二为高速电子与靶原子的内层轨道电子相互作用中产生的标明靶原子特性的特征X线，即特征辐射。特征辐射与管电压无关，只与靶原子的结构有关，不同靶原子产生的特征X线不同。X线产生中，特征辐射只占很少一部分。管电压69.51kV以下不产生钨的K系特征辐射(特征辐射中激发电压最高的电子)；80～150kV时仅占整个辐射量的10%～28%；150kV以上时特征辐射进一步减少，300kV以上时与连续(韧致)辐射相比，特征辐射可略而不计。
