电炉炼钢工艺现状及发展在西方和一些新兴的工业国家,电炉具有相当重要的战略地位。电炉炼钢在型材和长条产品市场上占据着主导地位,并已经介入扁平材市场。近年来,全球电炉钢2.7亿吨左右,占粗钢总量的1/3以上。欧盟(按15国计)电炉钢的比重已达到50%。经过一系列技术改造,电炉炼钢成本明显改进,电耗下降45%,冶炼周期缩短75%,电极损耗减少75%以上。缩短装料时间或采用双炉壳设计可以缩短断电时间,提高生产率。在缩减供电时间方面的重大进展是将冶金处理移向下游的二次精炼,电炉只被用作熔化设备。现在的冶金任务和浇铸温度的调整已由钢包炉来完成。水冷板和水冷炉底极大地推动了UH P电炉的发展,目前有些电炉已经在磨损大的区域使用了水冷耐材衬。石墨电极可承受的电流为25A~28 A/cm 2,电极直径从最初的200 mm发展到750 mm,制造800 mm的电极已成为可能。今后的工作是要开发出更好的材料,尽可能地提高单位载荷,完善制造工艺。变压器额定功率的增加不会遇到任何电力问题,惟一的制约是尺寸与重量引发的安置问题。对液氮冷却的超导变压器的研究表明,其重量下降50%,则电流损耗减少50%。废钢预热和二次燃烧是很不错的技术,如我们使用的竖炉技术、双炉壳和连续加料与废钢预热技术,对炉体的设计产生了深远的影响。全球不断增长的钢铁需求仍然要由这两大冶金工艺支撑。电炉的发展将会受到废钢资源的制约,其今后的工作就是如何利用DRI来克服这些束缚。
