小作文当然是头等大事，由于八月份还是在做 狼来了 的前期，根据历史经验每年的九月份（从9月开始，2001.7-.8没有测试过流程图等偷袭题型）都会有一道左右的流程图测试，无论你相信不相信，这可能就是雅思写作的宿命，9月我可以和你打个赌，基本上是有流程图的，甚至是在9月的中旬左右，老外老干这事，逃不出我的火眼。好在我现在基本已总结了近三年来必考的流程图，一旦考到，基本就是这八篇，俗称 新八流 。
所以我倒是觉得只要你把这 新八流 熟读甚至背诵，同时写过里面至少六篇流程图，那么考到这种题型反而可能成为上天给你的最好礼物，当然也不要放松传统四种题型的练习，毕竟九月考流程图也只有一次，这种赌博心态是万万不能有的。
最近的一系列大作文都是paper tiger，简直简单的令人发指。8月份前三次都是2号球（基础设施），最后一次我们一度认为雅思将打破多年来的传统（一个月考两个球），8月也最终只考了1个球。说明雅思的大作文出题规律千年不变，万古长青了。本月的两个重要大主题是3和5号球，分别是抽象题和科技题。其中科技题大家要更多地重视，已经有段时间没有考过了。三号球的题目就是From physical to mental，虽然九月的考试还没开始，但是我已经不禁笑出声来，其实生活就是那么简单，雅思也是！朋友们，一笑而 过 吧！
