近日，越南岘港市外办向我办发来慰问信，就新冠肺炎疫情向我省表示诚挚慰问，表示中国政府和人民排除万难，万众一心，必将在最短时间内战胜此次新冠肺炎疫情。
我省与越南岘港市于1996年建立友好省市关系。多年来，双方高层互访频繁，在贸易、投资、人文等众多领域开展了务实合作。

我们深知此次疫情严重威胁中国人民的身体健康和生命安全，并在中国各地造成了大量社会经济损失。世界卫生组织也宣布此次疫情为国际突发公共卫生事件。
岘港市外办也正在市政府的领导下，全力应对当地疫情。我们谨对山东省政府和人民排除万难，抗击疫情做出的努力表示诚挚慰问。我们期盼，有当代医学的不断突破，有中国政府和人民的万众一心，中国将在最短时间内战胜此次新冠肺炎疫情。

We are aware that the epidemic has caused serious socio-economic damage, especially to human life in many localities of China. The World Health Organization has also declared a global medical emergency for this epidemic.
