中国绿发会负责任旅游工作委员会于3月成立，旨在将“负责任旅游”的理念深植人心，引领“负责任旅游”方面的实践和研究，推动中国旅游行业的绿色发展。负责任旅游（Responsible Tourism）与联合国可持续发展议程、生态文明思想、”双碳“目标实现、生物多样性保护和绿色发展都密切相关。8月，中国绿发会负责任旅游工作委员会邀请了国内旅游业行业优秀代表参与“全球负责任旅游奖”评选，首次将这一项负责任旅游方面的国际权威奖项引入中国。
